I cannot walk up to you and greet you (at least not yet), but I'm still very happy to see you here.
You may also be wondering what's in this name: FIRST CHANCE. Unfortunately for me, my current condition ... by any other name would not look any better. Since July, 2000, I have been one of the strongest people around (or so keep saying my loved ones), yet I can't help wanting so badly to have full control of my body again.
I HAVE NOT BLOWN MY FIRST CHANCE! A diving accident left me paralysed below the C5 vertebra , but I have not stopped fighting since that day. It's a detour to a painful side of life but there is no way I am giving up!
I now have the chance to get better thanks to developments in the stem cells transfusion field. At last there is hope!
